Tow-n-Go Trailer Rentals (operated by JMJ Construction LLC, Fontana, California) collects only the information needed to rent you a trailer safely and legally. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we never do with it.
What we collect
Booking details — your name, email, phone number and billing address, used to create your rental agreement and contact you about your rental. Driver’s license photo — kept on file with your signed agreement, as required for equipment rental. Pickup and return photos/video — the walk-around evidence you capture, used solely to document the trailer’s condition and protect your deposit. Trailer location data — some trailers carry GPS trackers; location is used to confirm returns and recover equipment, not to track you personally.
Payments
Card payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers and we never see it — we hold only a secure reference that lets us place the refundable deposit hold you agreed to.
Who we share with
Only service providers needed to complete your rental: Stripe (payments) and our messaging provider (to send your booking emails and texts). Our insurance carrier receives rental details only if a claim is made. We never sell your information, and we never share it for advertising.
Retention & your rights
Rental records (agreement, license copy, condition photos) are retained while they may be needed for insurance, disputes or legal requirements, then deleted. You may request a copy of your information, or its deletion where the law allows, by calling or texting 909-402-6600. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising them.
Accounts & the Tow-n-Go app
If you create an account (on this site or in the Tow-n-Go app for iPhone and Android) we keep your email, a securely scrambled version of your password (never the password itself), and the name, phone and address you save so we can fill in your next booking. If you turn on notifications in the app, we store your phone’s notification token and use it only for messages about your own bookings. The app does not track your location or activity and has no advertising. You can delete your account at any time in the app under Account → Delete my account, or by calling or texting us; this removes your login, saved details and notification tokens. Rental records are kept as described below.
Cookies
The booking site uses only the cookies needed for the site to function and basic, aggregate analytics. No advertising trackers.
