JMJ Trailer Rentals

Race weekend coming up? Get the bikes there.

The Inland Empire still has real motocross within a short tow of our yard, but the map has changed — with Milestone MX Park now closed, riders are travelling further to ride than they used to, which is exactly when renting a trailer beats owning one. Whether it is a single bike for Saturday practice or four bikes, a canopy and a pit bike for a full race weekend, a rental costs a fraction of storing a trailer you use eight times a year. Open utility trailers handle a couple of bikes and gear; the enclosed trailers double as a locking pit garage you can leave loaded overnight.

Good questions

How many dirt bikes fit on a 16-foot utility trailer?

Four bikes across the front with room behind for a gas can, stands, a canopy and gear bins. Two bikes plus a full pit setup is comfortable. Bring your own wheel chocks or tie the bars down with four straps as usual.

Should I get an open or enclosed trailer for a race weekend?

Open is cheaper and faster to load — fine for a day at the track. Enclosed is the call for a multi-day weekend: it locks, it keeps bikes and gear out of the weather, and you can leave everything loaded overnight at the track or the hotel instead of unloading twice.

Can I rent a trailer for one race and return it Sunday night?

Yes. Rentals run in full 24-hour days, so a Saturday practice day is one day and a Saturday–Sunday race weekend is two. Pick up Friday night, contactless, no counter, no waiting for someone to open.

Do you have a ramp for loading bikes?

The utility and tilt trailers load easily — the tilt bed drops to a shallow angle so you can walk a bike up rather than run it up a steep ramp. Ramp gates with locking pins are included where listed on the trailer page.
